Allied Irish Bank
Utility+ were instructed to carry out the specification, delivery and installation of furniture for Allied Irish Bank’s London city office. The works were carried out within two phases of their existing offices with deliveries and works scheduled out of hours to avoid disruption.
The open plan featured TILT workstations with an anthracite contrast wood edge, with the storage wall suiting through. Areas between open plan and informal meet spaces were defined with GRID storage units with feature planting dividing areas.
Meeting rooms varied in look, in both the furniture used and finishes. The client facing boardrooms with oak veneered flip top tables and Interstuhl Vintage chairs in a bespoke stone grey leather. The internal meeting rooms all contrasted in design, from Carma tables with KB chairs fully upholstered, some rooms with sofas and credenzas for a more comfortable place for conference calls.
The installation was part of a new way of the city office working. The majority of the open plan was hot desking with large locker installations, coat cupboards and shoe racks incorporated within the office, including phone booths, high back sofas and library rooms.
